“Ending poverty benefits us all, and we’re embarking on a city-wide conversation about it. There is no one simple solution, and finding solutions takes the entire community. We invite you to raise your voice, share your opinions and be part of this conversation.” – End Poverty Edmonton
EndPoverty Edmonton, chaired by Mayor Don Iveson and Bishop Jane Alexander, is a task force composed of 18 leaders and stakeholders representing a broad array of communities. The vision is to eliminate poverty in Edmonton within a generation (roughly 30 years) and the task force’s mandate is to develop a long-term plan to achieve that vision.
