“Moving Forward 2017” is an ecumenical vision in response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada – Call to Action, which challenges Canadians and the Church to demonstrate good will, while gaining a greater understanding of the need for reconciliation and healing. “Moving Forward” aims to unite initiatives of indigenous ministry in the Anglican Diocese of Edmonton, the United Church of Canada Edmonton Presbytery, Inner City Pastoral Ministry, and supportive ecumenical and interfaith partners. This will be an opportunity to “witness” dialogue among rising leaders within the indigenous and non-indigenous community.
