The Water Just Conference scheduled for May 27th at Good Shepherd has been cancelled.
Please watch for a notice about a new date.
Water is a gift. Water is life. As water crises increase, access to safe and clean drinking water decreases.
Christians seeking ways to take unified, faith-based action on the front lines of the water justice movement are invited to a webcast of Trinity Institute’s 46th National Theological Conference, “Water Justice.”
Faith communities are invited to Good Shepherd Anglican Church, 15495 Castle Downs Road, Edmonton, on Saturday, May 27, 2017, to hear from local leaders, as well as renowned activists, scholars, authors and experts of the water justice movement: Senator Barbara Boxer, Maude Barlow, Katharine Hayhoe, Christiania Peppard, Thabo Makgoba and more.
“Trinity Institute 2017 will offer participants a deeper appreciation for water as a sacred gift and sustainer of life. They will gain a thorough understanding of the relationship between water issues and climate change and learn how and what individuals, organizations and societies can do to mitigate and adapt to water issues of access, pollution, drought, flooding and rising tides,” said Bob Scott, director of Trinity Institute.
