Honouring our commitment to reconciliation, a gathering hosted February 6 by Indigenous Ministries of the Edmonton diocese, celebrated aboriginal culture and offered an opportunity to acknowledge and learn about our involvement, as Canadians and Anglicans, in our country’s dark legacy of residential schools.
Thank you to one of our diocesan priests for the info and the medicine! It’s a no-brainer really. The medicine is in the bark and the fungus takes it life from the bark, so of course the fungus has the medicine. This was confirmed by Dr. Hank Cardinal, medicine man.
